Circular STL Symposium
We were excited to be a part of the first Circular STL Symposium on September 24. This event brought together leaders and innovators committed to advancing the circular economy in St. Louis and beyond. Morph showcased our latest initiatives, underscoring our role in reducing waste through upcycled products. We're looking forward to continuing to connect and share with this growing community. :)
Patrick Arnold, a CircularSTL founder and the leader of 10 Billion Strong, kicks off the symposium.
Facing the Climate Crisis: Where Morph Stands
As the IPCC chairman Jim Skea recently warned, “We are potentially headed towards 3°C of global warming by 2100, if we carry on with the policies we have at the moment.” In contrast, former Google CEO Eric Schmidt suggests it's time to fully invest in AI infrastructure, arguing that "climate goals are too lofty to reach anyway."
At Morph, we stand firmly with the IPCC chairman on this. We believe that despite the challenges, we must strive to meet climate goals, advocating for meaningful change through every action we take. Giving up on the IPCC's goals would be the abandonment of our obligations to each other and future generations. We're going to keep upcycling waste and promoting sustainable consumption as part of our commitment to a better future.

Systems Thinking: A Path to Understanding Complex Systems
At Morph, we believe in thinking systemically. Systems thinking helps us understand how different parts of a system work together and it's central to all of Chris' teaching. This approach allows us to identify sustainable solutions and see how our efforts contribute to the bigger picture.
With that in mind, we want to make sharing about systems thinking a regular thing in our newsletters. We're starting with the basic parts of a system via this video. (You can subscribe to our YouTube channel for updates.)
If We Could All Go To Space
Our founder, Chris, has an article on LinkedIn that discusses a phenomenon experienced by astronauts known as the "overview effect," that helps them see our place in the universe differently.
